Neat Burger x The Little London Vegan: KIMCHI CRUNCH 💥

Neat Burger x The Little London Vegan: KIMCHI CRUNCH 💥

We're excited to announce our new plant powered with Clare Every, better known as The Little London Vegan, to create a new and exciting menu item: the Kimchi Crunch, as part of World Vegan Month!

The Kimchi Crunch is a unique blend of korean-inspired flavors and textures which, we reckon (in our very humble opnion!), is our best burger to date. The Kimchi Crunch features a TiNDLE patty, combined with crunchy lettuce, spicy kimchi, gochujang sauce, crispy onions, and kimchi mayo. This combination of ingredients creates a punchy and crunchy experience, real autumnal comfort food vibes, but with a bold and spicy twist. You gotta love it.

We loved getting Clare (aka The Little London Vegan) in the kitchen, experimenting with different ingredients and flavours. It took weeks to perfect, but we reckon we nailed it!

We even celebrated with an epic launch event at Neat Burger Soho where guests enjoyed the new burger and drinks from MOTH.

The partnership also extends to a charitable cause, we're committed to donating £1 from every sale of the Kimchi Crunch to Made in Hackney, a local community food kitchen. This initiative not only promotes the enjoyment of vegan food, but also supports community welfare, aligning with the ethos of us and The Little London Vegan.

It's crunch time, baby! What are the benefits of Kimchi?

There's no denying that Kimchi is having a bit of a moment on social media! Korean-inspired dishes seem to be all over our feeds, but we definitely felt there was a gap for a delicious kimchi-filled burger.

It's not just about Kimchi's punchy flavour, the traditional Korean side dish made from fermented vegetables, offers numerous health benefits:

Rich in Probiotics: Like other fermented foods, kimchi is rich in beneficial bacteria called lactobacilli. These probiotics aid in gut health, improving digestion and absorption of nutrients, and may even contribute to a healthier immune system.

Loaded with Vitamins and Minerals: It is a great source of vitamins A, B, and C, and also contains significant amounts of iron, calcium, and selenium. These nutrients contribute to improved immune function, skin health, and help in reducing oxidative stress in the body.

Antioxidant Properties: The various ingredients in kimchi, such as garlic, ginger, and peppers, are known for their antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help in combating oxidative stress and reducing inflammation in the body. It's a win win!

Made in Hackney: A Community Food Kitchen on a mission!

We're so proud to be donating £1 from every Kimchi Crunch sold to this amazing organisation and support them on their incredible plant powered mission.
